First time buyers were given a surprise boost in the Chancellor’s Autumn Statement yesterday (Wednesday), and at Tinsdills we have the expertise and track record to help make that big move a reality.
Chancellor Phillip Hammond announced that the Government will abolish Stamp Duty for first time buyers on houses priced up to £300,000 effectively immediately.
The new measure will also apply to the first £300,000 on high purchase price areas such as London up to a maximum of £500,000 this means that the first £300,000 on high purchase price areas will not be taxable.
This is a major boost to help get younger generations onto the property ladder.
