Best feet forward

A team of solicitors will be slipping on their running shoes for this year’s Race for Life at Trentham Gardens. Staff at Tinsdills, in Hanley, will tackle the event on Sunday, June 4.

The team from the law firm collectively raised £2,000 in sponsorship for Cancer Research UK at last year’s event, and they hope to match that this year.

Mandy Cadman marketing co-ordinator at Tinsdills said: “This is the third year we’ve been involved in the Race for Life, and we always enjoy taking part. It’s a cause we feel very strongly about.”

“There will be some running, some walking and some doing a bit of both.”
“I ran last time and I hope to do the same this year.”
